Menshoes.de offer original Budapest shoes by Heinrich Dinkelacker.
Dinkelacker shoes are handmade and famous for their excellent fit.
Shoes by Dinkelacker are manufactured in a place, where they have shoemaking in their blood – in Budapest, Hungary.
Heinrich Dinkelacker have been making Budapest shoes completely by hand since 1879. This is not going to change in the future. The manufacturing process for original Budapest shoes is traditionally elaborate and time-consuming, involving over 300 separate working steps. Every shoe has been signed by hand!
Our online shop offers over 150 models in 11 forms, 11 different types of leather, and 20 different colours and colour nuances, beginning with a plain leather shoe, through the typical Budapest shoe in brogue, shoes with cap toes, Norwegians, one-cut shoes, penny loafers, docksider boatshoe, Oxford shoes, to boots.
The Dinkelacker heritage has been continued for over 60 years with the two traditional models RIO and BUDA.
A special characteristic of the RIO form is the triple sole.
The triple leather sole is strengthened with 132 brass pins per pair, hammered by hand. The tip is strengthened by an inserted brass plate.
A special characteristic of the BUDA form ist the traditionally made braided welt. The BRAIDED WELT is plaited by hand into the surrounding frame stitching even today, and is a typical expression of the traditional Hungarian art of shoemaking.
The handmade mens' shoes from the Heinrich Dinkelacker Factory in Budapest are all made of the finest leather. Apart from Italian and French calf leather, the famous Original Shell Cordovan from the Horween Tannery in Chicago is used.
Besides the complete Dinkelacker Collection, our online shop offers you original Heinrich Dinkelacker cedarwood lasts, leather belts to match the leather of the shoes and the finest shoe care products by the Swiss company Burgol.
