This model has a plain upper and no ornament. The original Budapest last is characterised by its high, slightly forward-tending tip.
Soft Calf is a pliable but solid calf leather with semi-matt shine. The aniline-dyed leather impress with its fine, even grain structure and its soft feel. A leather type which, as well as its incomparable appearance, also stands out with its suppleness and molds to the shape of the foot from the first time it is worn. Soft calf is one of the most expensive types of calf leather on the market and is tannend in a small southern Italian tannery especially for Heinrich Dinkelacker.
The sole is double-stitched with a characteristically Hungarian plaited welt. The characteristic plaited welt is a complicated double stitch, into which two leather strips are plaited by hand. This is an expression of typical Hungarian craftsmanship. Beneath the insole is a layer of cork, providing additional resilience and insulation.
The double leather outsole is strengthened by 84 brass nails per shoe, in the 6-nail pattern typical of Dinkelacker.
This shoe fit has proven itself for 60 years now, offering plenty of room for the toes and the ball of the foot, and is excellently suited to a high arch.
