This model is a (full) brogue, with a wing cap and pinking and perforations.The original Budapest last is characterised by its high, slightly forward-tending tip.

The upper leather consists of an extremely tough material with a waxed surface and an antique pull-up effect. This sporty leather has been renderd hydrophobic and is therefore strongly water-repellent. Thanks to the layer of wax, the surface is not sealed, but changes when it is worn. A so-called "pull-up" effect occurs.

The sole is double-stitched with a characteristically Hungarian plaited welt. The characteristic plaited welt is a complicated double stitch, into which two leather strips are plaited by hand. This is an expression of typical Hungarian craftsmanship. Beneath the insole is a layer of cork, providing additional resilience and insulation. The double outsole consists of two layers of leather and a rubber sole.

This shoe fit has proven itself for 60 years now, offering plenty of room for the toes and the ball of the foot, and is excellently suited to a high arch.
